Two Olympics. Two World Championships. Three World Cup titles. One stage.

At 28, Moa Ilar is one of Sweden’s leading cross-country skiers and a proud member of the national team. After claiming her first World Championship title in 2023 in the 20 km freestyle mass start, she went on to secure two more victories in Oslo (2025) and Oberhof (2026), and is now competing in her second Winter Olympics in 2026.

On the TEDxKI stage, Moa Ilar will reflect on the obstacles she faced, the discipline it took to stay committed, and how learning to create her own momentum changed everything. Sam Hultin is a Stockholm-based artist whose work explores queer history, identity, and the connections between personal experience and political structures💭. Through city walks, sing-alongs, and collective commemorations, Sam invites communities to engage with shared histories and reflect on how they shape the present. Their work is represented in major Swedish collections, including Moderna Museet, Statens konstråd, Gothenburg Museum of Art and Malmö Art Museum🎨

🎤On the TEDxKI stage, Sam will share the story behind Eva-Lisa’s Monument, an artistic memory project about trans pioneer Eva-Lisa Bengtson and the legacy of queer organizing in Sweden. Their talk will explore how histories of gender and power shape today’s society and what solidarity truly means in practice 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Swedish innovator Johanna Nissen, Co-Founder and CEO of Vividye, is transforming the future of cosmetic colouring through high-performance, sustainable innovation. A graduate of Chalmers University of Technology, she leads sales, partnerships and business development while driving collaborations with global industry leaders. Featured in BBC, Elle and Forbes, and part of the Prins Daniel Fellowship and Women Tech EU, she is passionate about turning breakthrough ideas into impactful commercial products.

In her TEDx talk, she challenges us to rethink sustainability: it is not worth anything if it doesn’t make something better. Drawing parallels between her background as a competitive middle-distance runner and building a company, she shares why real innovation is a marathon — one that demands resilience, vision and the courage to improve what already exists.

Sebastian is pursuing his PhD in Medical Sciences at Karolinska Institutet. Like many of us, he also had a moment that made him realise he wanted to pursue medical research. But his story goes way beyond what most of us would say lead them there.

On the TEDxKI stage, he will share with us a personal story how in the flash of a second his whole life changed and he was not who he used to be. This does not have to be a bad thing. This is, where momentum initiates, where we have a choice. Sebastian will let us in on how this experience has shaped his future and his way to neuroscience.

His story is captivating and inspiring, the message clear: Momentum is a paradigm shift.

Pella is a maverick ecologist, farmer, author, and educator working with relational, systemic leadership to build a society in harmony with nature 🌱. She is a knowledge expert in the UN Harmony with Nature program and co-founder of Swedish hubs of international networks: Transition Sweden, End Ecocide Sweden, and Save the Rainforest Sweden 🌍. She also serves as a board member of the Swedish Permaculture Association and is an associate at the Centre for Environment and Development Studies at Uppsala University 🎓.

Sara Hägg leads a research group at Karolinska Institutet, working at the forefront of molecular epidemiology of aging. Internationally recognized for her work on biological aging, she explores how biomarkers reveal the way we age, and how they connect to age-related diseases 🔬✨

But this talk isn’t about her research. It’s about what it really means to be the person behind it navigating uncertainty, pressure, curiosity, and the constant pursuit of what is not yet understood 🧠💭

Christopher is a teacher with all his heart and more than 25 years of experience. During this time, he saw different institutions🎓, cultures🎭, generations of students👩‍🎓, travelled the world🌍 and met all kinds of different people. But one thing remained constant: to move students, to engage them, information alone is not enough. He helps his students find reasons to care about what they encounter. When Christopher teaches, he aims to transform distance into connection.

He creates momentum making his students feel what they learn truly matters✨.

Gravity Dance Studio, a Stockholm-based street dance hub, brings together young dancers through creativity, community, and global influences 🌍🔥

Five dancers from Gravity Youth will deliver a high-energy performance exploring rhythm, movement, and the power of expression. Choreographed by Hilma, the piece captures what happens when passion meets courage and young voices find their way through dance 💫 More than a performance, it’s a reminder: momentum doesn’t wait — it’s created ⚡️
